The township doesn't require an inspection or a certificate of occupancy on a residential resale.
Call Water Billing at 248-348-5820 a few days before closing. They read the meter by radio, so no one has to be home. The final bill comes 7 to 10 business days after the read, with a $25 final-reading fee.

FEMA revised the map in spots in 2021 and 2022, along the Middle Rouge River, the Randolph Street Drain and the Johnson Drain. If the home is in a zone, the buyer's lender will require flood insurance.
